The ST 35S wouldn't stay running. Swapped it for an early Johnson small shaft 35. Ran out the whole tank. Tank was too small, ran out before finishing, crash. Knocked the tail off. Already repaired the tail and swapped the tank for the tank from the crashed Fronkensteen 3. Also swapped the small shaft Johnson for the Johnson Stunt Supreme. More later.

Applied a little tail weight and tried it again. No improvement in turn. It seems a little unstable in level flight. Johnson SS won't run in a clean 4 cycle. Strange considering that it was chromed and retimed by GMA.

I mounted a McCoy 29 sportsman on this thing to put some time one it. After a few flights, I pulled it off and installed a recently acquired Johnson CS. The McCoy had enough power, but wouldn't hold a steady setting. Next I need to install a 2 wheel gear similar to the one I put on the PT-19, only cleaner.

Due to the damage from the last crash, I removed 2" from the tail and 1" from the nose. I also reinstalled the original stab/elevator. Should prove interesting. Last item is a rudder built up with 1/64" plywood skins.
